Tangaza Integrity Movement (TIM) is a responsive Movement mainstreaming Governance, Anticorruption, Ethics and Integrity in public, private and civil society sectors. It was introduced to the University College in 2017 and works hand in hand with the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission of Kenya.
The Movement first held its meeting on the 13th of February 2018 in the Media Theatre at Tangaza University College (TUC) and from this meeting, a Leadership Team was selected.
Since then, the team together with its patrons and members has put some strategies in place to ensure that the vision and plans of the movement fit well in TUC and that it functions well.
As a team, they have already realized:
Formation of a WhatsApp Group which will be used for communication and coordination of TIM activities within TUC; Creation of pamphlets and posters to advertise the movement within TUC and also had a short meeting with Ms. Rose Ego (an Officer of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Kenya).
Besides this, they are also working on : Constitution and Code of Conduct for TIM in Tangaza; A plan for the activities to be done in the remaining bit of the semester and for the next academic year and to create an e-mail address for TIM.
