Tangaza University hosted an open day for religious superiors and delegates on 5th December 2017. The forum focused on the prophetic role of education in the preparation of the various members of the religious orders for their mission in Africa.

The superiors and delegates were taken through a historical and contextual presentation on the link between the religion and education. The presentations emphasized that education and religious life cannot be separated.The open day participants were then given a tour of the university over tea break after which the registrar Mr. Ngure took them through a presentation on the Kenyan system of higher education.Presentations were also given on issues affecting religious foreign students in Kenya by Fr.Karau,educational opportunities in Tangaza by Dr.Beatrice Churu and lastly scholarships available in the university for religious by Sr.Agnes.
