Faculty/ Lecturers’ Training held on 9th September 2017


The office of the Vice Chancellor Academics (Designate) organized a Faculty/ Lecturers’ training and workshop on 9th Septemmber 2017.

The workshop was attended by over 120 Full-Time and Part-Time lectures from the three different Schools in Tangaza (School of Theology, School of Education and School of Arts and Social Sciences).

The Overall theme for the training was “Faculty Profile within the Profile of Tangaza in Transforming Lives”.

The sessions included sessions by the Vice Chancellor- Designate Rev. Prof. Stephen Ngari, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics Rev. Dr. Selvam Sahaya, Dr Steven Lichty, Kathleen Lihanda (of the Leaders’ Guild Kenya), Mr. Stanslaus Agava the Chief Librarian, and Mr. Michael Otieno the ICT Manager.

In attendance were also Fr. Raphael Wakorach and Fr. Garry Mueller, the University Chancellor who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University.
